1. Acceptance

By accessing or using StoryWarm (storywarm.com), you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age. The Service is intended for adults, parents, and grandparents.

2. Service Description

StoryWarm generates personalized books using AI. Books are available as Digital PDF (instant download) or Physical hardcover (printed and shipped via Lulu Direct or Gelato).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Request stories or illustrations involving copyrighted characters (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, DC, Studio Ghibli, Nintendo characters, etc.)
• Request content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or illegal
• Upload reference photos of individuals without their explicit consent
• Generate content depicting real public figures or celebrities
• Use automated bots or scripts
• Attempt prompt injection or jailbreaking

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

Your Inputs: You retain ownership and grant StoryWarm a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process them solely for generating your book.

Your Generated Book: Upon successful payment, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license for personal and commercial purposes.

Per US Copyright Office (Jan 2025), purely AI-generated works may not be eligible for copyright registration. We make no representation that the book is registrable as your copyrighted work.

5. Pricing & Subscriptions (Pre-Launch)

Current pricing structure (subject to launch confirmation):

• Digital PDF: $6.99 (one-time)
• Hardcover: $39.99 + free shipping over $49
• Family Bundle: $59.99/year (2 hardcover credits + unlimited digital)
• Monthly: $5.99/month (unlimited digital + 1 hardcover credit/month)

6. Personalized Goods Withdrawal Exception

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(c), UK CCR Reg. 28(1)(b), and Türkiye Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği Madde 15(ç): personalized digital and physical books are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal once production has begun.

You may cancel before production begins for a full refund:

• Digital: Before clicking "Generate Full Story"
• Hardcover: Within 30 minutes of payment

7. Quality Failure Refund

If your book has a technical defect (corrupted file, printing error, illustration unrelated to story), we will re-generate or fully refund. "I don't like the style" or "I changed my mind" are NOT eligible.

8. AI Disclosure

• Stories generated by AI (OpenAI GPT)
• Illustrations generated by AI (Black Forest Labs FLUX.1 Kontext)
• Each illustration carries C2PA Content Credentials per EU AI Act Article 50
• AI output may contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected results
• Books are fictional

9. Limitation of Liability

StoryWarm's total liability is limited to the greater of (A) the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (B) $100 USD.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Consumer disputes resolved by Turkish consumer arbitration boards (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti). EU/UK/USA consumers retain rights under their local consumer protection laws.
